Workshop: May 22, 2007

This successful workshop turned out to be an intimate look at the challenges and blessings of raising a deeply sensitive child (Indigo and Empathic children included). It was profoundly validating for the participants as well as for myself (being both a parent of 2 sensitive children and owning the trait myself). I want to thank you for sharing your experiences and mostly for your reaffirming nods which indicated to me that there are other children in the world like my son.

In addition, your affirmation that there are other mothers, who have tossed aside conventional parenting methods to nurture and prepare their highly sensitive children for the world, strengthened my conviction to begin my next journey; to deal with the school district head on.  You have provided me with the language to describe to others what I have always known about my child, but could not put in words.
