Our very loved and very strong matriarch, Lola. She passed away recently (6/07) at the age of 84. This picture was taken when we had a surprise party for her 81st. birthday.That's my mom, Iris, in the background.

This was the alternative picture for my book. Unfortunately, I need my glasses to see well so I figured I should have a fair representation of what I usually look like.

These are my "angels" during the Christmas holidays of 2006. Brandon is 15, Ethan 12, and Emily 4 when this pic was taken.

John is always joking around. I don't think I own one picture without one of us cracking up.

This picture was taken when my niece, Jasmine, did her Holy Communion in 2004. My oldest niece, Tatianna, is on the top right; and my baby niece, Rachelle, is on the bottom left. Brother-in-law is Alfonso. I love it that we are all exceptionally close.

These 2 are inseparable. They are both very sensitive, though Ethan more so.

My handsome and athletic oldest "baby". He's 16 in this picture.

My darling father-in-law who lives with us. He immigrated to America from Portugal in the mid 1970s and worked very hard in construction to bring over his wife and only child (my husband, John) for a better life. Sadly, my mother-in-law passed away in 2001 at the age of 67 after open heart surgery.
